Some questions that are often asked at the end of the interview are:
Is this a new role?
How many people are on the team?
What are the learning and development opportunities in this role?
What do you like best about working here?
How would you describe the culture here?
What training would be put in place for the successful candidate?
When will I know the outcome of the process?
Ask about something you know is changing (such as legislation or a significant change programme) and how that would impact on this role?
What are the opportunities for career progression?
If you are interviewing for one of the general grades, the vast majority of candidates ask no questions and that's ok. However, I am always surprised when an external candidate does not ask a question.
