Managing Organisational Change
 

Change Management

I work
with organisations that are undertaking significant change initiatives and undergoing major business transformation.  I put in place a framework for managing the effect of new business processes, changes in organisational structure or cultural changes within an organisation.  Put simply, I address the people side of change management.

I create, and put into effect, the organisational change management plan, which focuses on communications, leadership and stakeholder commitment, business readiness and training.  This work typically includes:
  • Agreeing on a common vision for change.
  • Having strong executive leadership to communicate that vision and to convince the business of the need for the change.
  • Educating employees about how their day-to-day work will change.
  • Communicating continually about the change initiative, using the stakeholder analysis to guide the communications process, to ensure the right information is getting to the right audience.
  • Working with the business and HR to assess the impact of the change and to ensure that the appropriate actions are put into effect to manage changes in roles, responsibilities and organisation structure.
  • Equipping people managers throughout the business with information and tools to help them manage employees through the change.
